details of hiring the sheet music, please contact David The theme in question is the main theme
from Preludr to Act I, from Verdi’s La Traviata.
The work is in three movemnts, From Vienna – From Vienna Again –
Fuga, which are all pastiche. The
first movement treats the theme in a early-Beethoven sonata form framework, the
second in a serialist Bergian world and the third as a subject for a Bach-style
fugue.
